Only a few days from blasting into Space, Expedition 42 crew members made up of Russian cosmonaut Anton Shkaplerov, first Italian female European Space Agency astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti and American NASA astronaut Terry W. Virts took part in standard spacesuit checks before entering their Soyuz TMA-15M Spacecraft for a fit check.
They are scheduled to launch to the International Space Station on Sunday, November 23rd 2014 for a 6 month stay to conduct science and research as well as maintaining the orbiting laboratory.
